Iterative Learning Control - from industrial robotics to next generation healthcare Seminar

17:00 - 18:00
13 November 2014
Lecture Theatre Room 1019

For more information regarding this seminar, please email Professor Eric Rogers at .

Event details

This seminar will report on recent results from a research program on employing iterative learning control in robotic-assisted upper limb stroke rehabilitation and also on repetitive control to suppress intention tremor in MS patients.

In both cases the control is used to regulate the functional electrical stimulation applied. Supporting clinical trial results will also be given and some areas for future research highlighted.

Speaker information

Professor Eric Rogers ,is the Professor of Control Systems Theory and Design in ECS. His current research interests include iterative learning control, repetitive control, predictive-repetitive control, rehabilitation robotics, systems with repetitive dynamics, grid sensor networks and AUVs.
