How to apply

Want to have a unique education experience with a university in the top 100? (QS World Ranking 2019). If you are hoping to study with us but need funding to do so, we have a list of scholarships for local and international students. Students with AAA in their A levels are qualified to join the undergraduate programmes at UoSM.

Step One

To enable the faster processing of your application, we encourage applicants to include all the necessary documents:

Required Documents
Official academic transcripts: IGCSE/GCSE+AS / O Levels / SPM / SAT / STPM / UEC/ IB Diploma / SAM/ Equivalent, these must be certified by your institution
Transcripts showing previous academic awards: these must be certified as true copy by the awarding institution or by a University of Southampton official agent
Forecast results: if official results are not available, these must be certified by your institution
Evidence of your English Language Qualifications: All applicants must demonstrate they possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency. Find out more about the University’s English Language requirements.

Band B (IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components or GCE O-Level (1119 Grade C)
Identification: A copy of your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) for Malay students or Passport for international students

Step Two

Go to the online application, ensure you fill in all the information, there is no need to create a username and password, this is done automatically when you save your application.

Step Three

You can exit your application at any time, save your application and the system will automatically provide you with a unique login and password. Visit resume your application

After you have completed your online application, an email receipt will be sent to your registered email address. The receipt contains your unique participant ID as well as instructions to complete your registration.

Step Four

Please scan and send all the required documents to together with your unique participant ID as reference.

The admissions team will process your application upon receipt of your form and supporting documentation. You will receive updates through email and a decision is usually made within one week, dependent on time of year and the faculty receiving your application.
