Vitacress are UK leaders in the farming and supply of fresh baby leaf salads and herbs. Working with NAMRIP researchers the company was first to market with washing its salads without using biocide; a strategy driven by the inefficacy of available biocides and public concern for the health and environmental impact of their residues.

Vitacress continues to collaborate with NAMRIP researchers and has just funded a 3-year studentship, which began with a tour of their Saint Mary Bourne site.
