Southampton joins panel at Imperial's AMR Conference

As chair of Southampton's Network for Antimicrobial Resistance, Professor Tim Leighton was delighted to join a panel discussion at a conference on Antimicrobial Research at Imperial College.

There are 11 Universities funded by EPSRC to tackle Antimicrobial Resistance by 'Bridging the Gap' between engineering and non-engineering disciplines, including Southampton and the network at Imperial College known as EMBRACE.  

Tim joined the panel on 'EMBRACE & The Global AMR Challenge' along with members from industry and academia both within the UK and overseas for a lively discussion on how to tackle antimicrobial resistance with a multidisciplinary approach.
