NAMRIP 'Future Leaders in AMR' Workshop for Early Career Researchers

Researchers from across the University attended todays workshop set up especially for early career researchers within NAMRIP. This was the first event in a series of planned workshops which will include talks on what makes a 4 star paper, finding funding sources, making an impact and writing web pages.

Following an update on NAMRIP activities, Professor Tim Leighton presented a talk on 'How to succeed in academia'. This generated many questions and much discussion among the audience. Conversation continued over tea and cake when there was the opportunity to make new connections with colleagues working on different aspects of AMR.
