NAMRIP member Dr Seung Seo Lee awarded MRC-KHIDI UK-Korea Partnering Award

 

The UK-Korea Partnering Awards scheme, aimed at fostering links between researchers in the UK and in Korea, have awarded Dr Seung Seo Lee a grant of £20,000. The awards scheme is a joint collaboration between the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) to support new and developing ventures between the UK and Korea’s leading researchers.

An inaugural collaboration meeting between Professor Kyeong Kyu Kim’s group at Sunkyunkwan University (pictured presenting at the meeting) and Dr Lee’s group was held in April 2016.

This award will allow Dr Lee to organise a mini symposium/workshop later this year involving NAMRIP members.
