Prof Leighton invited to speak on NAMRIP at Royal Society Emerging Technologies Workshop

The Royal Society is currently running a series of four high level invitation-only workshops on strategic planning.

On 8 May 2017, in the Council Room of The British Academy, it ran its fourth workshop, on how scientific developments will drive resource related emerging technologies and how far this will go by 2030.

The event opened with two talks, the first of which was on NAMRIP by Professor Leighton. After this, the invited delegates discussed strategy and tactics, in particular how the direction of scientific developments might influence these.
