Only two days after their launch at the 2017 NAMRIP conference on 5 June 2017, two NAMRIP exhibits went up to the Cheltenham Science Festival.

From left to right, the photograph shows Professor Tim Leighton, Dr Paul Hurley, and Dr Marcella Hernández García. Behind them are three sections of the hexagon of ‘The most dangerous game in the world’ and to the right of them is the ‘Wash ‘n’ Wipe’ exhibit.

Side by side, "The most dangerous game in the world" and "Wash 'n' wipe" both reinforced the message that children should wash their hands for two rounds of 'happy birthday'. Professor Leighton was amazed when, later in the day, people playing the game started saying that this explained why the toilets at the event were full of children singing that song as they washed their hands. See for example the video here.

NAMRIP members who staffed the exhibits were Dr Paul Hurley, Dr Marcella Hernández García and Professor Tim Leighton, with excellent logistics support as ever from the Roadshow (Dr Steve Dorney, Dr Tony Curran and Emma Flynn).
