Event details

This is the third Theme 4 workshop, based around 'Behaviour within and beyond the health care setting'. The workshop is open to all members of NAMRIP including PhD students, Early Career Researchers, Academics and Clinicians. It is an opportunity for members to hear about research currently underway within this theme, and share plans and ideas for collaborting together on future projects.

Theme 4 topics include infection prevention practice, screening, telemedicine, epidemiology and water & food safety.

Programme

  • Tom Cherrett: How could engineering innovate to reduce risk of AMR in areas of food transport logistics, food packaging and cleaning technology?
  • Sascha Miller: Germ Defence - from trial to dissemination
  • Paul Hurley: ‘In Our Hands’ - working with poetry and an art film maker to translate research knowledge into improved infection prevention training tool. From Mapping Microbes project ‘Preventing the spread of infection in hospital care settings: Health professionals, the agency of microbes and imaging tracking technology’

There will be time to network with NAMRIP colleagues over a free buffet lunch. To help us with catering can you please register for the event.
