Meeting a strong delegation from Physics and Engineering at the Global-NAMRIP conference in Uganda earlier this year, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Makerere University subsequently awarded a scholarship fund to Professor Winston Tumps Ireeta allowing him to visit Southampton from 4th to 8th November 2019. Professor Ireeta is Head of Physics at Makerere University and the purpose of his visit is to meet with Global-NAMRIP members and discuss in more detail our multidisciplinary approach to tackling AMR.

As part of this visit, we are delighted that Professor Ireeta will be presenting a Global-NAMRIP seminar.
