Feedback Study

Study title: Identification and comparison of key criteria for allocating funding: Secondary data analysis of external peer reviews, applicant feedback and guidance

Study description: The aim of this study is to identify key components (i.e. criteria) of applicant feedback that are consistently provided to applicants.  To do this, we are analysing external peer reviews, stage 1 and stage 2 feedback from funding committees, and guidance documents for applicants and reviewers.  This will include applications across NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centres research programmes, focussing on Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Public Health Research (PHR), Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) and Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) that were reviewed between November 2018 and July 2019.

Current study status: Data is being analysed.
