Graduate Recruitment Fair

Published: 4 June 2004

The University of Southampton will be hosting its annual Graduate Recruitment Fair on Thursday 17 June, from 11am until 4pm, at Garden Court on the University's Highfield Campus.

Over 25 major graduate recruiters will be exhibiting, offering opportunities in a wide range of careers. The Fair is open to graduates and postgraduates from any University or College of Higher Education.

Organised by the University's Careers Advisory Service, this year's event is sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Germaine Cooper, South East Recruitment Manager for PwC believes that the Fair is perfectly timed: "You've finished your exams and planned your holiday but what about your career? PricewaterhouseCoopers is delighted to sponsor the University of Southampton summer Careers Fair. We feel it will provide students with a great opportunity to meet top employers who can help them plan their career before they swap their books for beach towels."

Ann Collins (Director of the Careers Advisory Service) encourages graduates to make the most of the Fair.

"It represents an excellent opportunity for graduates to speak to employers face to face about the jobs they have available. The feedback from those attending in previous years has been very positive. Many of the organisations are prepared to consider applications from people with any degree discipline."
