Published: 6 June 2005

The event takes place between 5 and 8 June at Battersea Park Arena, London and is sponsored by the fashion store River Island. Nineteen WSA students will be showcasing their design work in a highly-anticipated fashion show today (Monday 6 June) including four menswear collections, and four fashion knitwear collections.

Two of the WSA students taking part, Carly Garwin and Jessica Tsang, have already had illustrations of their designs highlighted in Drapers magazine 'Stars of tomorrow' feature about Graduate Fashion Week.

John Hopkins , Head of Fashion at WSA , comments: "This prestigious event is undoubtedly the highlight of the year for fashion students and gives them valuable exposure to fashion industry professionals and contacts. It is also a great opportunity for them to demonstrate their creative design talents to prospective employers as they embark on their chosen careers in the fashion business."
