University of Southampton climbs three places in top ten of student experience survey
The University of Southampton has climbed three places from tenth to seventh in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2012.
Students gave particular praise for the University’s high quality staff and lectures. They also gave high scores for Southampton’s extra-curricular activities and good campus environment – equalling, in these categories, the overall top ranked university.
14,000 undergraduate students took part in the survey for the THE magazine from 105 universities across the UK. Information was gathered in the academic year 2010/11 and they rated their institution’s performance in 21 categories.
