The interplay between water, energy and food 

The point where the resource areas of water, energy and food overlap creates a hub and what we mean by Nexus Science is the interacting interplay between these different sectors by which exploitation of one resource may negatively impact the others. Efficient and sustainable resource management is urgently needed to enhance and maintain quality of life. This USRG is spearheading the advancement of understanding how to develop Water/Energy/Food (WEF) resources sustainably to benefit societies and the environment - an urgent global challenge because demand for water, energy, and food (WEF) is increasing with global population growth.
