The first day of MATS will see an impressive line up of invited Key Note speakers from across academia, industry and government organisations, including the Royal Navy, Satellite Applications Catapult, University partners, Boeing, Schlumberger and Kongsberg. The full programme for the event will be announced in early October and we’ve received a number of high quality abstracts addressing our core conference pillars, Applications – Current Reality and Aspirations, Enabling Technologies to enhance our understanding of the marine environment, Making systems Smarter – the advance from Automatic to Autonomy, The economic, environmental and human benefits of autonomous systems, Upskilling and preparing the workforce for an autonomous future.
NEXUSS students have a dedicated poster session during the Ice Breaker event (1st year students), as well as short flash talks (2nd year students). This event is an opportunity to talk about your research with members from industry.
