The NEXUSS PhD lasts 3 years and 8 months, where the central component of the student’s doctoral experience is a major, challenging and innovative research project. In addition, a cohort-based training programme is provided, in the use of SAOS technologies as well as professional skill development. The programme includes opportunities to work with different NEXUSS partners and engage with stakeholders at meetings and through internships and placements.

Research Experience Placements are also available for undergraduate students in quantitative sciences who are interested in conducting original research with an environmental application.
