2,2,3,4,4,4-hexafluorobutan-1-ol demonstrates how easily a 1H{19F} experiment can simplify complex multiplets with numerous HF scalar couplings.

1D proton NMR Spectra. Top: 1H spectrum; Lower: 1H{19F} spectrum
FF COSY. The FF COSY shows the fluorine homonuclear coupling network within the molecule.
HF HMBC. In the HF HMBC spectrum the two- and three- bond couplings between 1H and 19F nuclei can be seen as cross-peaks.
