Dr Andy Barker is Senior Tutor within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton.

Research interests

  • Hydrothermal systems and mineralisation in Precambrian terrains
  • Shear zones and macro-scale fluid migration pathways in the mid and upper crust
  • Grain-scale physical and chemical processes associated with fluid infiltration
  • Deformation-metamorphism inter-relationships
