Research interests

- Modelling of the Earth’s magnetic field for the past few thousands years using archaeological and sediment data
- Understanding the geodynamo at such time scales

Research Projects:

- Building a new benchmark record for the past 500 kyrs from sediment cores from the West Iberian margin
- Undertake a comprehensive synthesis of existing high resolution sedimentary palaeomagnetic records around the globe
- Build a time varying model of the magnetic field for the pas few 100kyrs to better understand the geodynamo at millennial scales
