Southampton Boat Show Tickets – Retweet to win!

To win two single day pass tickets for any day at the Southampton Boat Show from 12-20th September 2015, all you have to do is retweet the original tweet from either @unisouthampton or @OceanEarthUoS Twitter accounts. Terms and conditions are fearured below. Good Luck!

 

Free Prize Draw Rules

1. To be eligible for entry into the free prize draw, and to stand a chance of winning tickets to the Southampton Boat Show 2015, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom, over 18 years old and have entered in the above named competition.

2. University of Southampton staff and their families are eligible to enter the free prize draw.

3. No payment or purchase is required in order to participate in the free prize draw. The prize is a pair of tickets to the Southampton Boat Show 2015 and will be emailed to the winner. It is their responsibility to print out the ticket. Each ticket is valid for one person per ticket. Each ticket has a code allocated and can only be redeemed for one entry into the Southampton Boat show 2015. The prize does not include travel to or from the Southampton Boat Show, food and drink or other personal expenses.

4. Participation in the free prize draw is limited to those voting in the above competition, and is via internet access only through the University of Southampton twitter account @unisouthampton and the Ocean and Earth Science Twitter account @OceanEarthUos

5. The opening date for entries is 12pm on 10th September 2015. Entries must be retweeted/submitted by 11th September at noon. Entries received after this time will not be accepted. The draw will take place within two hours of the closing time and the winners will be announced at 3pm on 11th September on Facebook and Twitter and the winners will be emailed shortly after. They will not be notified by phone or any other communication.

6. The winner will be drawn by random selection performed by a computer process from all of the entries received which also contain a valid email address.

7. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within [2 hours] of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

8. All decisions of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Failure to provide a valid email address will render the entry null and void, and the prize will be forfeited. There is no cash alternative to the prize.

10. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 the University is the Data Controller with respect to any personal data provided by Participants. All personal details will be only be used for the purposes of conducting the free prize draw and/or for delivery of the Prize and will not kept for any longer than is necessary.

11. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The Promoter of this prize draw is University of Southampton of University Road, Southampton SO17 1BJ.
