Event details

Climate Conversations and the University of Southampton will be hosting a public screening of Naomi Klein’s documentary This Changes Everything (90 minutes). An audience discussion will follow the film screening with complimentary food and drink. This event will also feature community group stalls and information in the foyer of B46.

Filmed over 211 shoot days in nine countries and five continents over four years, This Changes Everything is an epic attempt to re-imagine the vast challenge of climate change. Directed by Avi Lewis, and inspired by Naomi Klein’s international non-fiction bestseller This Changes Everything, the film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond.

About Climate Conversations:

Climate Conversations is a Southampton-based network of people who want to talk about global and local environmental change and respond through positive action. We want to see Southampton as a low carbon, healthy city that plays its part in global justice and the future of planet Earth.

This event will take place in B46 on June 18th from 17:30, with the film starting at 18:00.
