Our Careers Day is an annual event run by Ocean and Earth Science in collaboration with the University of Southampton careers service. The aim of the day is to engage our geology, geophysics, oceanography and marine biology students along with students from the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment with key organisations relevant to their field of study, giving them opportunity to network and discuss potential career pathways. The event will be held at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton, on Thursday 22nd February 2018 and will begin at 10am and conclude at 2pm.

All UoS students are welcome to attend the 2018 Ocean and Earth Science Careers Day.
- Exhibiting organisations will be seeking students for employment opportunities following graduation or are often able to offer work experience, summer or year-long placements.
- If you have a CV then please bring this along with you to the event as there will be an opportunity for you to brush up your CV, with the UoS Careers and Employability Service on the day.
- If you want to improve your LinkedIn profile and have a professional photograph taken please drop in to the LinkedIn Labs session, hosted by SUSU.
There will be an opportunity hear from alumni describing how they made the best use of their time at Southampton and how their degree has helped them achieve employment within relevant industries in the Careers Panel at 11:15 in the Charnock Lecture Theatre. Remember to bring any questions you want to put to them.
