The Friday Seminar Series covers the full range of research activities undertaken at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.
Seminars are typically held on Wednesdays at 3pm during term-time from October to June, and take place in the Henry Charnock Lecture Theatre of the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.
Past speakers have included Fellows of the Royal Society and members of the National Academy of Sciences, and other leading scientists from around the UK, Europe and the world. International speakers deliver around 25% of the seminars and we maintain a good gender balance (46% female since 2014).
