Miss Elizabeth Comer is Postgraduate research student within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton.

Masters Project: Estimating the mean transport of components of the Meridional Overturning Circulation between Iceland and Scotland.

Working Internship: Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Team, Bermuda Institute of Ocean Science.

Research interests

Large-scale ocean circulation in the subpolar Atlantic.

I will be continuing on from my Masters project to further investigate the volume, heat and freshwater transport through this region. This will be carried out using the Extended Ellett Line and OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Project) data.
