Miss Emma Chambers is a postgraduate research student within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton.

I am currently researching seismicity associated with the East African Rift and its role in volcanic rifting.

I studied at the University of Southampton for an MSci in Geophysics from 2010-2014. My final research project focused on linking seismicity in Cameroon to subsurface fluid movement.

After graduating I worked for ION, an oil and gas company, in the seismic data processing department for 2 years.
