I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Bath, graduating with a first-class BSc Biology with Professional Placement.

I was introduced to bat research by Operation Wallacea, and developed my interest through work with African Bat Conservation and local bat groups in the UK. My PhD research focusses on how ‘greening the desert’ affects the ecosystem services provided by bats, using the deserts of Southern Israel as a case study.

Research interests

Bats, Ecology, Landscape Genetics, Molecular Ecology, Human-Wildlife Conflict, Agricultural Systems, Desert Ecology, Arid Environments

Research project: How will greening the desert affect bats and the ecosystem services they provide?
