Research interests

My PhD research focuses on microbial communities associated with different types of marine particles using rDNA amplicon sequencing and metatranscriptomics.

My research topics include:

- Differences between suspended and sinking particle-associated bacterial communities,

- Microbial eukaryotic communities in the mesopelagic,

- Organic matter degradation in light depleted environment.

Research project: Microbial Control on Remineralisation of the Organic Matter in the Ocean's Twilight Zone
