Mark Moore is Head of School and Professor of Ocean Biogeochemistry within the School of Ocean and Earth Science, University of Southampton, based at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.
My research interests focus on resource limitation of marine phytoplankton and other microbes alongside the physical causes and biogeochemical consequences of these processes.
He is a sea-going scientist predominantly working on marine nutrient and carbon cycling and contributes to teaching within undergraduate and graduate Marine Biology and Oceanography degree programmes.
