First ESRs started

The First OLIGOMED ESRs have started.

In July, the first ESRs have started with their research and PhD studies. Laura, Mónica, Albert and Tina-Thien are now embarking on their 3-year journey to the PhD degree.

The start of the ESRs will continue throughout the year but no later than December 2021. Unlike originally planned for everyone to start in or around June - and as would have been possible in any "normal" year - the recruitment and start dates have been significantly impacted by the current COVID-19 situation. Apart from very few exceptions all positions have now been filled, which is great!
