OLIGOMED Training Week 2022

OLIGOMED week 2 held in Gent (BE)

From the 2 ^nd to the 7 ^th of May 2022, the Oligomed ITN network was warmly hosted in Ghent, Belgium, for the annual training week.

The ESRs had a chance to share with the network their latest research, discuss their projects, receive feedback both from each other and from the Principal Investigators involved in Oligomed. They also had a chance to discuss potential collaborations and make plans for upcoming secondments, as well as organising breakout groups to facilitate group discussion.

Training this week consisted of the remainder of "Nucleic Acid Chemistry" from Prof. Roger Strömberg (KI, SE), "Quality Management" from Dr. Anders Dahlèn (AZ, SE), and "Sensor and Analytical Technology" from Prof. Karolien De Wael (University of Antwerp, BE).

Of course, there were plenty of opportunity for the ESRs to explore the city and for personal networking among themselves, with events organised by ESRs Jan Meffert and Jack Barr, and Prof. Annemieker Madder. Many thanks to them for the effort!
