The instrument
OPTICAM is equipped with 3 Andor Zyla sCMOS cameras and SDSS filters.
OPTICAM is a triple-band high-time resolution optical system in development as a collaborative work between the Astronomy Group of the University of Southampton and the Institute of Astronomy of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. This instrument will be located at the San Pedro Mártir Observatory as one of the common-user instruments of the 2.1m telescope.
