Ethical Approval
The study has been granted REC and R&D approval.
This study, 'Investigating Fracture and Osteoporosis' gained approval from Southampton A REC on the 7th of August 2012 following the ethics committee meeting. The study has now also been granted approval by NHS Research and Development. These approvals mean participants can now begin to be recruited from the University Hospital Southampton and their anonymised tissue and data can be analysed at the University of Southampton.
