Event details

An annual event which involves interfaith work and hosts activities and workshops.

Together with the Chaplaincy of the University, the Parkes Institute has organised a range of events for interfaith week. Some of these are for those on campus and others open to the general public. Please see details below, but do check back as we add more to the list.

JAMES PARKES - INTERFAITH RELATIONS

Monday  6:30-8:30pm (open to the general public)
(LTC Avenue Campus)
We will watch an interview of James Parkes discussing interfaith relations and follow this with discussion on how this has or has not changed from the situation today
Wine, Juice and Nibbles available

TAIZE

Tuesday  7pm (campus only)

Join CathSoc for an evening of
Taize chants and reflection

CELTIC MORNING PRAYER

Wednesday 8:30am (campus only)
Morning Prayer according to the tradition of the Northumbria Community

SPACE FOR PEACE

Wednesday 7pm (open to the general public)
The Vedic Temple, Radcliffe Road 
An exciting interfaith peace-making vigil, in music. Involving choirs, groups, soloists ... and your participation. A creative, inspiring opportunity - not to be missed.

Thursday 5pm (campus only)
