Adriana Armony, who teaches Brazilian and Portuguese Literature, describes herself as a Brazilian-Jewish novelist and is currently working on her third novel. Judith in the Future Land is her second novel and the central character is Armony's own late Jewish Palestinian grandmother, Judith.
