Material added to the Parkes Library since its arrival at Southampton, includes books on Judaism from the collection of Claude Montefiore, President of the University College of Southampton, 1913-1934, books and journals on twentieth century Jewish history from the Library of the Institute of Jewish Affairs and books from the Joseph Sherman collection of Yiddish literature.
