Event details
Colleagues are invited to join the Parents’ and Carers’ Network talk on Sensory Integration with Amy Stephens, who will be sharing information and ideas about how parents and professionals can use a Sensory Integration frame of reference to optimise communication opportunities with their children.
Amy is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Advanced Practitioner in Ayres Sensory Integration and a Senior Rehabilitationist at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service. She particularly enjoys the Outreach strand of her work to support deaf children and adults (and their parents, teachers, and carers) across the South West of England. Amy also has an independent consultancy practice supporting schools and charities in using an Sensory Integration frame of reference across the day; and teaches and mentors Speech and Language Therapists and teachers in NHS and Educational settings. Amy is part of the national lecture team for the Sensory Integration Network of UK and Ireland, who recently commissioned Amy to put together and record their online introductory course.
Please do forward this invitation to colleagues who may be interested in this area.
