Event details

Following 'Baby Loss Awareness Week' held from 9-15 October every year, this event aims to raise awareness about they key issues and support parents and carers.

Every day in the UK, 15 babies die before, during, or shortly after birth. In this session we will hear from bereaved parents to gain an understanding of their experiences of baby loss. This session is intended to honour babies lost, and develop and understanding of what it is like to parent when your children aren't visible. Participants of this session can expected to have improved insight on how to be a better friend, colleague, and manager to parents experiencing bereavement.

We will be accepting donations for Butterfly Books for Baby Loss and Kitty's Dream at this event.

All staff are welcome. This session may also be helpful for Managers who may be supporting staff that have experienced baby loss.
