Dementia Friendly Session Event

This is an initiative to change people's perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition. The University has recently registered as a Dementia Friends organisation. 

Val Down, a volunteer Dementia Friends Champion, will be holding an hour long information session to increase our understanding of dementia, and to encourage us to think about what we can do to make a difference to people affected by dementia in our community. 

As well as being an information session there will be an opportunity to share experiences and ask questions.
