Dr. Carmen Lopez is an Associate Professor in Marketing.
Carmen's research focuses on the areas of international marketing and digital marketing. Her work has been published in highly regarded journals including Journal of World Business, Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Business Research, International Business Review, Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Computers in Industry, Production Planning & Control, International Journal of Production Research, and Computers in Human Behavior, among others, as well as in many prestigious conference proceedings. She is a member of a number of American and European academies in the area of marketing.

Current research
Carmen's current research lies in the areas of international marketing and digital marketing. Within international marketing, Carmen is conducting research on country image, the innovation-export entry link, and the sustainability-export entry link. Within digital marketing, her research focuses on virtual influencers, artificial intelligence and engagement, and transparency in intelligent autonomous systems.
