Public Engagement Manager and Deputy Director
Jo has many years' experience in academic administration at the University of Southampton, focussing particularly on support for doctoral programmes, the 'doctoral experience' and researcher development, latterly within the Doctoral College.
Since 2011, Jo has worked alongside key colleagues to facilitate a culture change whereby public engagement becomes embedded within the University's research activity. Within PERu she now manages several strategic strands, including training & development and PER Development (seed) Funding.
