Public engagement network
This informal group enables staff and students to: network; share good practice, resources and information; and act as a forum for discussion around PE activity, direction and strategy.
Whether you are new to public engagement or have some experience, there are many sources of support to help you develop ideas, activities and expertise.
If you are in the process of preparing a research bid you can talk to us direct via peru@soton.ac.uk after exploring this site. For instance, many Southampton researchers cost involvement with one or more of our platforms for engagement (see Festivals, Hubs and Roadshow tabs above).
If you are just starting out on public engagement, you can get some ideas on where to begin and how to build your skills from the Getting Started and Training & Development sections of this site.
If you are planning your own event or activity related to your research you should visit our Funding and Evaluation sections.
