Public engagement network
This informal group enables staff and students to: network; share good practice, resources and information; and act as a forum for discussion around PE activity, direction and strategy.
Whether you are new to public engagement or have some experience, there are many sources of support to help you develop ideas, activities and expertise.
If you are in the process of preparing a research bid you can talk to us direct via peru@soton.ac.uk after exploring this site. For instance, many Southampton researchers cost involvement with one or more of our platforms for engagement (see Festivals, Hubs and Roadshow tabs above).
Our annual Development Call offers funding for pilot engagement activity with potential for an external partner to lead a collaborative application/project.
Our Planning and Evaluation pages will steer you in the right direction if you are just getting started on devising your engagement approach/activities.
Further support is available for University of Southampton staff and students on our SharePoint site.
