In the 2011 National Student Survey, Philosophy at Southampton was ranked 8th nationally for overall student satisfaction.
In the Russell Group - the set of elite universities offering research-led teaching - we were ranked at #2, second only to Cambridge. We received scores of over 90% in categories ranging from staff enthusiasm and availability to the intellectual stimulation of the material.
