Philosophy at Southampton is pleased to welcome a new Visiting Research Fellow.
Sophie Edwards has recently completed her PhD at University College London, which focused on the nature of belief and its relationship with reasons. Her interests overlap with topics in the philosophy of psychology, including the nature of self-deception, and delusion. She comes from Brighton.
Sophie’s research interests connect in various ways with those of other members of the department, in particular those involved in the Aims and Norms research project, to which Sophie is sure to contribute.
