Philosophy programme scores 100% for student satisfaction!

Published: 15 August 2013

The results of the 2013 National Student Survey (NSS) have just been published, and Philosophy at Southampton is delighted to report that 100% of the students on the Philosophy BA expressed 'overall satisfaction' with their course. This fantastic score, which places us first in the UK, reflects the hard work and dedication of the academic and administrative staff, as well as of the students.

In the same survey, 100% of students said that staff in Philosophy are good at explaining things, while 96% agreed that staff are enthusiastic about what they teach. This is testament to our commitment to research-led teaching.

The NSS is an annual independent survey which gathers the opinions of graduating students throughout the UK on their studies. For further information about the survey, see http://www.thestudentsurvey.com/.
