Southampton welcomes new lecturer in Philosophy

We are delighted to announce a new appointment. Dr Andrew Stephenson will join the department in October 2017 as a permanent lecturer.

Andrew’s research focuses on the history of philosophy, especially the work of Immanuel Kant, and its significance for issues in contemporary philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and epistemology. He has published articles on these topics in leading international journals, including Philosophical Quarterly, Kantian Review, and Philosophers’ Imprint.

Andrew is sure to make a fantastic contribution to our research and teaching. We look forward to welcoming him to the department.
