New Philosophy, Politics and Economics Lecture series launches

Published: 16 June 2020
Prof Lisa Herzog

We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new public lecture series, the Annual Philosophy, Politics and Economics Lectures. Each year a distinguished speaker will examine issues at the fertile and increasingly important intersection of the three disciplines; and we're delighted to announce that the first lecture in the series will be given by Prof. Lisa Herzog from the Centre for Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Groningen, author of Reclaiming the System: Moral Responsibility, Divided Labour, and the Role of Organizations in Society (2018) and Inventing the Market: Smith, Hegel, and Political Theory (2014), as well as editor of Just Financial Markets? Finance in a Just Society (2017), all published by Oxford University Press.

The date of the lecture is—you will not be surprised to hear—to be confirmed. But we hope to hold in it in the next academic year.
