Philosophy PhD students’ success at Festival of Doctoral Research

We’re very pleased to report that four of our PhD students this week received awards at the University’s Festival of Doctoral Research.

 

 

 

 

Research Award for Humanities (Joint runner-up):
Charles Boddicker - for his article, 'Nietzsche's Account of Valuing', forthcoming in ‘The Journal of Nietzsche Studies’.

Public Engagement and Outreach Awards:
Teresa Baron - for her work to engage the public with academic work through popular literature, and an awareness raising project on sex education.
Charlotte Unruh - for her outreach work on public health and climate justice, and science communication work on food security.
Carla Wiggs - for a wide range of outreach activities she has undertaken to widen participation in HE.
