Dr John Kenny DPhil, MPhil, BSc
Research Fellow

John Kenny is a Research Fellow on the Project ‘Social and Political Change in Britain: Gallup Polls 1945-1991’.
I joined the department in October 2019. In my post as a research fellow, I work on converting historical British surveys carried out by Gallup from antiquated column binary format to contemporary software and non-proprietary formats.
Prior to coming to Southampton, I completed my doctorate at the University of Oxford where my thesis investigated the relationship between economic conditions and environmental public opinion.
