David Owen on migration

David Owen, Professor of Social and Political Philosophy, is currently working on issues surrounding migration.

In this capacity, Professor Owen recently gave a talk entitled 'In Loco Civitatis: on the normative ground and character of the International Refugee Regime' at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Cambridge as part of a Migration in Legal and Political Theory conference.

He has also been invited to give a talk touching on related issues of transnational voting rights entitled 'External voting: the difference that the EU makes'. This will be delivered at in Brussels on the 10th of November as part of the EUDO Dissemination Conference held at the EUropean University Institute.
